Well, Let's get this thing going again.

I received a comment on a one of my past posts that pointed out I hadn't posted in quite a while. To tell you truth, I kind of felt that probably people really weren't paying all that much attention anyway and maybe my little rants and critiques weren't very constructive. I really hope I haven't outright offended anyone with all my writings as I've always meant what I said as only constructive observations (for the most part). They're only my opinions.

Also, I got kind of bored doing it and I was also very busy playing out all summer and wasn't getting a chance to see many bands. That doesn't mean I have not seen any bands. I've seen a few. I've seen Pirates Over 40, Stone Quarry Road, Axe Grinder, 16 Candles, Mike and Joe, Dickey Pimpkins, Six Pack, Booze Brothers ... and a few others. You guys really don't know how great it is to get feedback from you all on these things. I realize that you probably don't realize there's been anything written about you until you decide to Google your band and you say, I'll be damned! There's an article on us!

Thanks, Dave for kicking me in the ass a little bit. It's time to pick up steam again. It's Fall. The bar scene for showcasing local bands seems to be drying up a little bit and it's time to get going again. It's time to go out and check out our local musicians and show the bars and restaurants that we appreciate them having live music there! Be sure to tell the bar owners or send them a letter to be sure they know it.

Also, it's time to change the music on my site. If you have a song you'd like me to upload and put on the site, let me know how I can get it. Let's get busy.
