Modern Day Romeos - Crystal Lake Gala 6.30.07

The third musical group of the afternoon at the Gala was Modern Day Romeos. They perform alternative and classic rock material and were on the Main Stage with a very good sound company doing the mixing. Great sounding PA!

I've seen them before and I'd see them again. This is a band with tons of energy, and mostly good songs. They started off with some good material but then warped into the same old songs everyone else does. I seem to be on a "personality" kick today, so I'll say that this band has a lot of personality, which is one of their best points. The singer is very personable and draws the crowd in. They're good players and their versions of the songs were good. The crowd loves them. They are another band that's been around for a while and I applaud the Gala people for having another good local-area band featured on the entertainment line up. This area has a lot to offer with good bands so the fest people should showcase them.
