So Long, Duke's Grill

Just read in the paper at http://www.pioneerlocal.com/wauconda/news/743995,wk-dukes-011708-s1.article that Duke's Grill in Wauconda has closed its doors. This was a great place and another place that featured live bands. Kevin Purcel and Pez and the Dispensers and many others played there. It's really a shame to see Duke go. Competition has been getting pretty tough in town with Docks, Lindy's Landing, TJ Twigs and Lakeside Inn all having live music. To tell you the truth, Wauconda is now starting to get quite the rep as a town for live music. However, it's very sad to see Duke leave and I certainly wish him the best!
