The Wiggle-Os is Alex and Buddy from Alex and the All Stars and they are a real joy to watch. I stopped in for a short while late on this Friday night at The Onion in Lake Barrington (on Pepper Rd) and the place was loaded with musician-types. This seems to turn into an open mic night of sorts as friends of the group go up and play on songs with the two.
Buddy is a great guitar player on electric but he's also very good on acoustic. Alex plays at the acoustic guitar and is better than the last time I saw them many months ago. She's got a great voice. Together, they make for a fun night. I didn't know most of the people there but I did recognize the bass player from Jiggle The Handle who played on a song or two. Patrick from the All Stars was there as well. They all have to be locals.
Well any way, it was a real fun night for the short amount of time I was there and if you want to see some good players, both locally known and not, check these guys out!
